The Fox & Hounds

There is a bar in Chino called "The Fox and Hounds". They have a grill behind the bar and a great menu. Porterhouse and salad was all they served. My father-in-law and I decided to go in there one night. He served In World War II with Pappy Boyington in the South Pacific, (http://www.freewebs.com/blacksheepone/). Here is a link about him if you are like my nursie and don't have clue. I actually met Pappy at the Chino airport. He flew in with a restored flying tiger. Anyways Ralph was slamming down rum and coke and I was sipping on my Leinie's. (Right, like they had Leinie's in California!) We were just watching our steaks sizzle on the grill. The wall behind the grill was a little greasy. It must have gotten too hot because all of a sudden it had bursted into flames! Everyone screamed, "Fire!" and ran out. That left only Ralph and I sitting there waiting for our steaks. So I got up and tried to find a fire exstinquisher but there wasn't any. The only thing that I could find in the back room was a five gallon bucket so I filled up the bucket full of water and put the fire out. Now if it had been a pan of grease it wouldn't have worked, but I ain't that stupid! That left Ralph and I sitting there until the firemen showed up. I thought they would be happy, but wrong again! They kicked us out without our steaks. As far as I know, they never reopened.
